Theatre Guild of Hampden Presents Shrek the Musical

Auditions will be held in November 2018 for the beloved musical 

My Fair Lady. Hailed by critics and audiences for its heart and

its wit, My Fair Lady is a beautiful musical about transformation, patronage, gender politics and class, and based on George Bernard Shaw’s play, Pygmalion.

​Auditions will be held in September 2018 for Tennessee Williams' powerful memory play The Glass Menagerie. The play 

premiered in 1944 and catapulted Williams from obscurity to fame. The play has strong autobiographical elements, featuring characters based on Williams himself, his histrionic mother, and his mentally fragile sister Rose.

Check back soon for audition dates. Show dates are last weekend in February and first weekend in March 2019. The Glass Menagerie will be directed by Mark Giza with Stage Manager Janet Plumb.

The Theatre Guild of Hampden presents Shrek the Musical as this summer's youth production. In this one-of-a-kind, hilarious fairy tale curses are reversed, monsters get the girls, donkeys and dragons find love, and princesses are beautiful in all shapes and sizes.

Auditions will be held on May 5, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm and May 6 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Town Hall in Hampden.

Show dates are August 17, 18, 24 & 25 at 7 pm and August 18 at 2 pm. 

Ages: Students who are currently in first grade through 12th grade are eligible to audition. They need to prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show (acapela or bring cd/ipod) as well as a 1-2 minute monologue. Call backs will

be held on May 19 at 3 pm.

Show will be directed by Darcey Fuller with KK Walulak as Musical Director.
